14 “Serve
Somebody!” Speaker: Reverend David Maynard Program Leader: Margee Bailey Bob Dylan sings a song “You've Got to Serve Somebody” which presents a decidedly spiritual view of living. A few days ago several of us were debating who is happier, the giver or the recipient? Some thoughts on usefulness, happiness and our purpose in life. The Choir will sing and there will be special music. |

“Once Upon A Cross Something
Happened” Speaker: Reverend David Maynard Program Leader: TBA The President of my seminary Starr King School for the Ministry once reflected that, no matter what our beliefs may be about Christianity, that we would have to agree that some 1,980 years ago that “something happened” to change the convictions of thousands, millions and now billions of people. An Easter service on what this is all about. The Choir will sing gloriously. |
