July 11 “Forgiving the Unforgivable”
Speaker: Mick Mortlock
Program Leader: Kristen Warren

July 18 “Our Whole Lives”
Speaker: Reverend Patti Pomerantz Program Leader: Sandy Sakurai
Everything that happens within the walls of the church is a part of a lifetime of religious education, and everything that happens in a religious education class is as much a part of the sacred life of the church as is the formal Sunday worship. I’ll look at two things that tie these together – story and theology. Both author Fanny Flagg and the wonderful Our Whole Lives sexuality education curriculum for kindergarten/first grade we’ve been offering will serve as illustrations.
July 25 "What I Learned On The Poor Farm"
Speaker: Sharon Nesbit Program Leader: Ed Hofmann-Smith
Some thoughts from the Gresham Outlook reporter and local historian who is credited with rescuing the Edgefield Manor in Troutdale from demolition. Now used by McMenamin's for many purposes, there is even an estate bottled Pinot Gris named after her.
