A Call for Connection & Helping Hands
Sometimes we could all use a little help. Sometimes there’s something that we just can’t do for ourselves. Just for a little while.
It’s one of those times for a participant in Eastrose’s community: Karen Muñoz. You might know her from attending Sunday services. Or singing in the choir. Or washing dishes in the Thatcher Room far more often than one person should. Or maybe you know her as choir director Tyler Perez’s mom. When she’s at Eastrose she’s always got a smile and a giggle. And a helping of sarcasm (which seems to run in the family).
Karen recently had knee replacement surgery. She’s at home recovering in north Portland and has confessed that she cannot cook for the life of her.
Eastrose Fellowship is encouraging its community to support Karen during her recovery. Please consider providing her with a delivered meal – homecooked or not. If you’re interested and able to participate in this brief effort, it would greatly appreciated. She’s very easy to please. Details can be found on the Meal Train website.
Thank you for giving life to Eastrose through worship, fellowship, activism, and volunteering. Together we are inspired to make a difference in our own lives and in the world.
