Sharing the Bounty is our community partner program in which we share our congregational offering (1/2 of the basket collected each Sunday) to an organization doing good works in our area. We also occasionally work together to create a service project for them.

Their vision is a vibrant, sustainable community with equitable opportunities and where all of our needs are met.

SnowCap Community Charities

SnowCap Community Charities is a philanthropic organization created to provide food, clothing, advocacy and other services to the poor.

Throughout the year, Eastrose holds work parties at SnowCap on the second Friday of each month. We are in an open air warehouse and mask as appropriate. Contact the church office for more information.

Outgrowing Hunger

Nurturing connection to nature, food, and community, Outgrowing Hunger builds and operates community farms and gardens for refugees, immigrants, and people who care about affordable access to real food in Portland and Gresham.

The money we raised was used for free tokens for community members at the Rockwood Farmer’s Market, means sales went directly to immigrant and refugee farmers. The Farmer’s Market is every Sunday, 1-5pm at the Rockwood Market Hall Plaza on Burnside.
