Interested in exploring the Bible from a UU perspective? Beginning in September, we’ll meet once a month after church for about an hour to explore biblical stories and themes together. We’ll look at the text with curiosity and an open mind, considering historical context, different interpretations, and what these stories might mean to us today. No particular belief or previous knowledge of the Bible is expected.
Our first gathering will be September 27 after Sunday Service. I’ll send out a short guide ahead of time to give us a starting point for the discussion. Please bring whatever Bible you already have. It will actually be interesting to have different translations in the room. If you don’t have a Bible or would like to borrow one, just let me know.
