Homecoming Prep: Outdoor Work Party – Sat 8/22

All hands welcome on Saturday, August 22 from 9am to noon to help get Eastrose ready for Homecoming 2026. Bring your gloves and any rakes, pruners, spades, leaf blowers, or chain saws as we work together on this 75°F morning. Eastrose has two curbside bins for clippings we can fill.

As people power allows we will complete the following:

  • Trimming bushes and shrubs
  • Management of invasive plants
  • Cleaning up the grounds
  • Weeding and clipping


Come join us!!  Suggested personal items to bring: Gloves, sun hat, sunscreen, water, knee protectors. Tools that would be useful: Pruners, loppers, weed diggers, shovel, rake, electric weed-eater, electric hedge trimmer, electric blower

Our next clean up day: Saturday, June 20 from 9am to noon. Larry will have a list of landscaping needs from which you can pick or, if there is some landscape work you think really needs tending to, you can do your own project. Eastrose has two curbside bins for clippings.
