Sunday Morning Religious Exploration for Kids and Youth
Join us at Eastrose every Sunday morning for fun and fellowship in a mixed-age group. Let’s explore our UU faith, learn about ourselves and each other, and grow our spirits. Stories, activities, and snacks are provided!
In the classroom, school-aged children explore:
- UU identity. We develop our faith through stories, games, and creative activities related to our shared values.
- Traditions. We light the chalice, voice joys and concerns, and share a snack.
- Fellowship. We build community through structured and unstructured play with extra opportunities for multi-generational activities.
Children are always welcome to remain in the chapel with their families! Our chapel family space has room for babies and preschoolers to color, crawl, and play with soft toys during the service. Or visit our nursery, a parent/guardian supervised space with additional toys, couches, and room to roam. The service is live-streamed so you won’t miss out!

Celebrating Pride
This Sunday in RE, we’re celebrating the beginning of Pride Month. People share love, friendship, and community in many ways, and everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and respected for who they are. Together, we help create a community where everyone belongs! We’ll hear a story and work together on a craft activity. We’ll tend our garden, play together, and share a snack, too. All are welcome — come join us!

Share What You Love in RE!
A lot has been happening in the RE classroom recently. We’ve been inviting members and friends to share their talents, interests, and passions with our kids, and it has been so much fun. Celeste recently led us in embodied movement, and Keene taught us about ancient life, bringing an entire exhibit of fossils that the kids could hold, touch, and, in the case of one giant whale vertebra, sit on!
Do you have something you’d enjoy sharing with the kids? It doesn’t need to be formal or elaborate, just something you genuinely love and would like to explore together. Artists, gardeners, musicians, crafters, scientists, storytellers, cooks, collectors, game players, and curious people of all kinds are welcome.
