Schismogenisis and The Space Between

“Schismogenesis” is a term used by anthropologists and sociologists to describe conditions between cultural areas or individuals that causes the separate cultures or individuals to take on identities and rituals that are opposite of each other in almost every way and therefore each becomes defined by what the other isn’t. It has been active throughout human history and is easily seen in our current culture war environment. Living with our “principles” will require us to inhabit the “space between.” Keene Clay, speaker, with Worship Leader Jean Weigant. Music from Mary Reese and A Time for All Ages by Tara Toler.
