The Head of the Year

Rosh Hashana–the Jewish New Year–coincides with the start of our church Homecoming and the start of our congregational new year. Perhaps the Jewish High Holidays, with their themes of repentance and forgiveness, present a helpful model for how to enter a new season together. Please bring water that you have gathered from abroad or home over the summer to mingle in our water ceremony.

Rev. Dr. Lynn Ungar is a UU minister, a poet, a dog trainer, and co-admin of the UU Hysterical Society on Facebook. She lives in Vancouver, WA with her two Australian Shepherds.
