You Will Be Found – The Need to Belong and the Power of Tribes

What does it mean to “belong” to a tribe, a community, a family, a congregation? One of the most rewarding aspects of belonging is the sense of having found a home for ourselves and, in turn, being found, supported, and accepted there as we are. In this sermon to celebrate our Eastrose tribe in the season of Thanksgiving, we’ll explore the various ways we become visible and known to one another when we allow ourselves to be found, even if it is by video chat, on you tube or through social media.

Rev. Robin Landerman Zucker preaching with Worship Leader Jeanne M. Music from Rev. Barbara Stevens and A Time for All Ages from Tara T. AV tech services by Jon N. New member welcome ceremony. Spirited Conversations to follow.

This sermon honors our third principle: Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations; and our shared value of Justice, working to be diverse multicultural Beloved Communities where all feel welcome and can thrive.
